Northern Pickups

Somewhere between the P-90® and the humbucker sits the mini-humbucker. Tonally speaking, it has qualities of both. The clarity of the P-90® and the spank and bark of its big brother. Originally introduced by Epiphone® until Gibson® took over they are often seen on guitars like Sheratons® to Wilshires® and in the 70s made their way onto Les Paul Deluxe®.

The mini-humbucker comes in two main styles, and do we have options for you!

Traditional Mini-Humbucker

The PAF® style traditional mini-humbucker comes, as all our pickups do, in a vintage or modern spec. Under the cover are two bobbins with both a bar (rather than slugs) and adjustable poles as is found on a regular sized humbucker.

Mini humbuckers come with nickel covers and baseplate as standard, 50mm string spacing and cloth covered wire with a metal braided shield as standard.

Nickel or upgrade for £12 with the option chrome, unplated nickel, unplated brass, gold or black
